This wine is the result of a careful selection of over-ripe Cabernet, Merlot and Pinot Nero grapes grown in sunny vineyards in the hills around Trento and Cirè di Pergine. The Cabernet and Merlot grapes come from vineyards on Casteller, a hill to the south of Trento particularly suited to the cultivation of Bordeaux grapes. This is a wine of great character, while Pinot Nero confers elegance.
The three wines are aged separately for twelve months in small French oak casks so that the best is brought out in each variety. This wine is dedicated to the memory of our friend and wine specialist Marina Mariani who helped to create it and who has passed away.

Wine

Colour: intense and deep ruby red.
Bouquet: appealing and persistent it immediately shows personality and complexity. Fruity and ethereal notes dominate but sensations can also be detected of ripe red cherry preserved in alcohol mixed with balsa wood, leather and a slight and elegant cocoa note.

The intense and appealing flavour and the warm soft notes go well with the balanced tannin and agreeable notes which make this wine full-bodied, harmonious and persistent.
