Trentino Traminer Aromatico D.O.C.

Available in cases of 6, 750 ml bottles.

This grape, almost certainly originally from South Tyrol and also called Gewürztraminer, is one of the great aromatic varieties which requires hilly terrain and full sunlight in order to grow. Cantine Monfort’s vineyards are located in Valsugana valley, near Cirè di Pergine, at 500 metres a.s.l.. Facing south they receive sun for most of the day and are cultivated in the simple Trentino style pergola planted out at 2.8/9 x 0.8 m.
